Lighting

Premiere is certified to do lighting design consultant services for FDOT Statewide, MDX, CFX, and Miami-Dade County. Our lighting design staff has over 60 years of experience doing lighting designs for roadways, signalized intersections, bridges, underpasses, tunnels, airport runways, city roads, parking lots, aesthetic lighting, and architectural lighting. Being an electrical design company, we also conduct field inspections, light meter and multimeter readings, and final inspections. Our Team has the exclusive experience of working on all three FDOT District 6 signalized intersection lighting retrofit contracts (2016-ongoing), which were an FDOT Central Office initiative that provided $26M to FDOT District 6 to improve over 600 signalized intersections in a 5-year span. Our staff worked on over 400 signalized intersections in this program and has hundreds of these intersection lighting projects already built with no errors and omissions, as well as over 60 under construction. Our staff has also worked on hundreds of task work orders accumulated over 10 years of conducting plan reviews.

Signalization

Premiere is certified to do signalization design consultant services for FDOT Statewide, MDX, CFX, and Miami-Dade County. Our signalization design staff is IMSA Level II certified and is fully trained in signalization design, traffic signal retiming, smart signal systems, and TSM&O. Our staff designed has designed over 100 signalized intersections in the State. Having a staff of fully trained electrical engineers, applying our electrical knowledge to signalization projects adds critical value such as providing the newly required voltage drop and load analysis calculations for signalization systems. Our staff has also worked on hundreds of task work orders accumulated over 10 years of conducting plan reviews.

intelligent transportation systems

Premiere is certified to ITS design consultant services for FDOT Statewide, MDX, CFX, and Miami-Dade County. Our staff designed the first adaptive system (Adaptive Signal Control Technologies-ASCT) for FDOT District 6 at the signalized intersection of SW 8th Street and SW 107th Ave. We have worked on several ASCT deployments, and currently designing 6 smart signal systems for FDOT District 5. Our team also worked on the ITS technical memorandum for the I-95 Bus on Shoulders (BOS) project, the design of a 4-mile ITS deployment of new fiber backbone, CCTV, MVDS, ADMS, and 7 signalized intersections with fiber interconnect on SR 30 in FDOT District 3, and an arterial ITS system along US-1 in FDOT District 4. Our team also conducted ITS power distribution evaluations at over 22 miles of Florida Turnpike and developed the RFP for correcting several electrical deficiencies in the ITS system, such as deficient load centers, circuit breakers, surge suppression, DMS, CCTV, MVDS, TTS, voltage drop, conductor and conduit sizes, and missing fiber route markers.  We stay current with new technology initiatives such as wrong way driving detection systems and AV/CV. Our staff has also worked on hundreds of task work orders accumulated over 10 years of conducting plan reviews.
